My name is Yohanes, a language enthusiast. While my mother tongue is Indonesian, I speak several other languages with varying fluency. I am currently on a journey to learn even more languages and I invite you to join me in this exciting adventure!
This blog
Parler tout seul (French for talking to oneself) was actually born in 2020 during pandemic. At that moment, I just left France and moved to Germany and I had too much time to kill and decided to make some videos of me speaking in French as an attempt to keep honing my French skill. I made a 30 days challenge to record a 5 minutes video every day, talking about anything that came to my mind. The year after, I tried to do the same challenge, but in German. In both trial, I did not manage to complete the 30 days challenge, but the dream to talk about language learning has been growing ever since. This blog, together with the youtube channel and instagram page, will hopefully capture my language learning from different angles and make it fun.
